What happens next?
Here’s what you need to do or prepare for the shutdown of the Bridge app:
Account payments and refunds
Bridge customers with a paid account – All payments for your Bridge account will end on 15 Jan 19. Of course, you’ll receive a pro rata refund of any annual or monthly fees paid beyond that date within a week or two.
You will still be able to use your Bridge app for free until 31 Jan 19 to give time to close out any active jobs.
Bridge customers with a free account – Your Bridge account will close on 15 Jan 19.
Securing your Bridge data
Your client data is very important, so be sure to read on. As Pocket Office is a new product, your data will not be transferred across from Bridge. If you have a spreadsheet of your client details you can upload it in Pocket Office. Otherwise, ensure any important data you currently have in the Bridge app is saved elsewhere before the app is closed for good.
Managing your Bridge client outstanding payments
We understand that cash flow is crucial to small businesses. This is why it’s a good idea to let your clients know to contact you directly for any payments owed during this period of transition.
The good news is you can generate new invoices as soon as you start using Pocket Office.
Bridge app credit card payment collection
If you have set up your Bridge app to accept credit card payments, this is done through our partners at Pin Payment. this facility will still be available following the shutdown of the Bridge app.
