FAQs
You can access Yellow Pages Connect through your My Yellow Pages account here. Once you have logged in, select Yellow Pages Connect. Your Yellow Pages Connect portal will open in a new tab so you can update your details.

It’s important to complete your profile to get the most out of Yellow Pages Connect. The more complete your profile, the more likely you are to attract potential customers to view and choose your business. To get started:- Login to your account
- Click on Yellow Pages Connect
- Click get started and fill in the required fields
- Click on the ‘profile’ tab and continue to the next step
There are 4 levels to complete
- Required (business name, address, phone, categories)
- Basic (opening hours, short or long description, photos, google attributes)
- Bonus (website, email)
- Social media links
Basic level
- Opening Hours – let your customers know what days and times your business is open or when you prefer to receive calls. For 24 hours enter 00:00 to 24:00 and select the days that apply.
- Short or Long Description – highlight what makes your business different, your history or information your customers will find helpful.
- Photos – add at least one clear photo or a business logo – (hover over the information icon for dimension and format requirements) You can upload a series of gallery photos. While there is no limitation as to how many photos you can upload, the number of photos published may be limited by the third-party publisher. Some directories support landscape photos (E.g. Facebook banner image)
- Videos- To include a video to your profile, scroll down to ‘Video-URL’. Here you need to copy and paste your video URL (this can be from any online video platform) in addition to a video description. To add more than one click ‘+Add video” and repeat the same steps.
Advanced level
We recommend using terms that you expect your customers to search for, these can be updated as your business changes.- Keywords – add your top 10 keywords that are relevant to your business, starting with the most important ones first. These are listed on the platforms as the products and services that your location offers and each keyword can be composed of several words.
- Services – on the Rich Data tab you can add services to showcase specific services provided at your location. You can customise services to each location if you have more than one.
Bonus level
Adding the Bonus content allows your customers to check out your company and contact you via email if they don’t have time to call.- Website – ensure any website you add is working and the content on your site is up to date. Mismatching content like your address, phone number and about us can have a negative impact on local search and can also confuse your customers.
- Email – where applicable please provide an email that you regularly check, this provides a convenient way for customers to contact you before deciding to choose your products or services.
A Google My Business profile needs to be created, verified and connected to Yellow Pages Connect for us to be able to keep your location data updated.
- Go to the directories overview and click ‘Connect’ next to the Google logo to start the process.
- A pop-up window will open showing you details of the location you are about to connect. Click ‘Start’
- Log in to your Google account using your email and password.
- Allow local listing creator to manage your business listing on Google.
- The location found in Yellow Pages Connect will appear. Click ‘Create and connect’ to add your GMB profile to your google account. Your business location will appear, click ‘Confirm’ to connect to Yellow Pages Connect
- Your GMB profile is now connected to Yellow Pages Connect! You can check this on your 'Directories' tab
To link your Facebook and your Yellow Pages Connect accounts:
- Select ‘Directories’ in the top tab.
- Click ‘Connect’ next to the Facebook logo to start the process.
- A pop-up window will open showing you the details of the location you are about to connect to Yellow Pages Connect. Click ‘Start’.
- Please grant Local Listing Connector access to the public profile and confirm by clicking ‘Continue’.
- Search the Facebook location you would like to connect and select the location by clicking ‘Confirm’ to accept the terms and conditions.
- You have now successfully connected your Facebook page and a green tick icon will appear next to your Facebook tab in the 'Directories' section of Yellow Pages Connect.
Connect gives you a single point of control to manage your online presence and engage with your customers. It allows you to post News, offers and even Q&A’s.
News
News allows you to publish a post across the third-party publisher network. You can view this listing as you add content to see how it will be displayed across different platforms.Offers
Offers allow you to publish special offers/discounts that you are offering your customers across the publisher network.Q&A's
Q&A’s allow you to interact with your customers and answer questions that you might get for your business on your products and services.To get started creating a post:
- Click on the ‘Publish’ tab within Yellow Pages Connect.
- Select ‘Create your first post’.
- Choose the type of post you would like to create.
- If you have multiple business locations, choose which location pages you wish to share the post.
- Select which platforms you wish to publish your post across.
- Enter a title for your post and write your message in the content box, adding any images. You can preview it and make changes in the ‘Live Preview’ tab.
- Add a link if you would like your post to have a call to action.
- If you want to schedule your post, click the arrow next to publish now and select a date and time.
- Click 'Post'.
- You can save as a template if you wish to revisit a post in the future or don't have all the details to hand to complete your post.
Yellow Pages Connect Guide - Posting and responding to reviews
The Yellow Pages Connect home screen is known as the Dashboard. Your dashboard is your best tool to keep track of how your business is performing online. From Facebook clicks, to calls from your Google listing, to impressions where you can see what people are doing when they come across your listings. Your dashboard is the place to see your review ratings, response rates and even your online visibility rating to see how your brand is getting out there.
Impressions
Impressions are the number of times any content from your page or about your page entered a person’s screen. This includes posts, check-ins, ads, social information from people who interact with your page and more.Clicks
Clicks are the number of times people clicked on any of your content.Google My Business and Facebook Reporting
Reporting can be accessed from the Yellow Pages Connect Dashboard. You will need to ensure GMB and Facebook have been connected for your location. If you do not see statistics, you will be prompted to ‘Connect’ your GMB and Facebook.All this data can be exported out to a PDF or Excel for easy sharing.

Reviews online can be vital to the success of your business. To see your reviews in Yellow Pages Connect:
- Click ‘Customer feedback’ in the left side bar
- Your reviews will now be visible
- To open and respond to a review, simply click on the review you wish to reply to.
- If you have a high volume of reviews, you can break these down by platform, date or score using the filtering options above the review feed.
Keywords are used to describe the product and services that your business offer. They to help your business become more visible in relevant search engine results.
Within Connect, you can add keywords under the basic data tab. We recommend using terms that you expect your customers to search for.
You can choose up to 10 keywords relating to your business to help your business be shown in local searches.
Attributes provide extra information about your business, describe offerings and unique selling points. Attributes options vary by your business category.
It's important to review and update attributes as they show on your Google My Business listing. New attributes have been added recently for certain business categories to reflect changes that may have taken place due to Covid-19 such as ‘curbside pickup’, ‘no contact delivery’ and ‘dine-in’.
Check what attributes are available for your business category in Yellow Pages connect within the 'Rich Data' tab. You can select as many attributes from the list provided that reflect your business.
Profile suggestions will import content that sits within your linked Google My Business and Facebook profile and make suggestions to publish it across the broader third-party publisher network.
You can choose which suggestions you wish to accept and which you wish to reject.

Profile completeness is a measure of the amount of information provided about your location in White Pages Connect. The more rich content you provide, the more likely you are to entice potential customers to view and choose your business.
There are four levels of profile completeness:

You can choose which suggestions you wish to accept and which you wish to reject.
When you select “I don’t serve customers at my location address” on the Basic Data page, only your suburb and postcode will be published instead of your full location address. This is perfect for mobile and service area businesses.
