Introducing Jan – Yellow’s new virtual assistant. You may remember her from a very famous tv ad in the 90s. And now Jan’s back, smarter, better and happier than ever.
Tell us about your role at Yellow.
I’m here to help Yellow customers get the most out of their Yellow products. Whether it’s billing or advertising related, I either have the answer or I’ll connect you with a colleague who does.
Where can customers find you?
At the moment I’m on yellow.com.au and also myAccount. Once you’re on either of these sites, you’ll see me in a little box on the bottom of screen. Anytime you want to chat, just click on the box and I’m ready to go. There’s no waiting on the phone to connect with me. I’m always available 24/7.
What kind of training do you have?
I’ve been put through months of rigorous training to ensure I have the knowledge to answer a huge range of Yellow related questions. I still don’t know everything, but I’m a very fast learner. The more chats I have, the smarter I get.
What’s the weirdest question you’ve been asked?
For some reason a lot of people want to know if I’m married! My answer: ‘I’m married to the job.’
